Terms and Conditions
1. Entry to the competition in its respective categories is open only to individuals permanently residing in the UK. Visitors from outside the United Kingdom are not allowed to participate.
2. Winners and runners-up of Group A (Complete Qur’an) of previous competitions may not re-enter the competition. Similarly, winners or runners-up of Group B (20 Ajza) and Group C (10 Ajza) of previous competitions may not re-enter the competition in the same or lower category.
3. Applicants who fulfill the competition entry requirements will be invited for an interview, details of which will be sent to the applicants by email. Interviews are normally held in the applicant’s home town or in a nearby one.
4. Applicants will be informed of the interview result by email. Successful applicants will be invited to participate in the competition.
5. Interviews will be conducted on the dates and venues that have been set. Interviews will not be conducted on any other dates. If any candidate decides to change his interview date, venue or time then he may do so as long as it is within the dates and venues set by Albirr Foundation.
6. If applications to any category fall short of the minimum target set by the Albirr Foundation, the Committee reserves the right to cancel the competition in that category. However, awards of appreciation will still be given to all the applicants in that category.
7. The decision taken by the Albirr Foundation Awards Committee will be final. No further correspondence in this regard will be entertained under any circumstances.
8. All candidates are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
9. Any candidate who does not comply with these terms and conditions will either have his application cancelled or forfeit his prize money.
